Who are you VOTING for?

Right now my family and I (OK mostly me) want to no who your voting for for president. Even if like me you to young to vote. Although I wish I could. So who do you want to be in that presidential seat? Is it Obama (Yay), Clinton (Nay), McCain (Okay), Or are you just not sure yet? Now leave comments saying who you want for president or maybe who you want to win the democrat nomination. But either way make sure to tell me- WHY?

Later,
Texis

Well, since I seem to be your only commentor (so far), I might as well keep up my streak. Besides, your Dad’s blog is too brainy for me (not that you’re not brainy, just maybe not as much as your Dad. Not YET anyway).

You have asked a really tough question. Some people have a strong opinion, but I bet they couldn’t give you five good reasons WHY they support a candidate.

My leaning right now (and of course it is subject to change, because there is a long way to go) is McCain. Not that I’m madly in love with him, but if I had to make a choice right now it would be him. Obama is very inspiring and motivational, but I think it is true that he does not have the experience. Maybe in another 4 or 8 years he will. And Clinton, well, I know this isn’t a very good reason but she just skeeves me. She is a “good ole boy” politician in woman’s clothing. I simply don’t trust her. Both Obama and Clinton just want to create more government programs to save everybody from themselves. That’s my money they are messing with.

McCain isn’t perfect. He has a bad temper, and not to be mean but he’s not the best-looking guy out there. As far as the maturity we need to go on in this country, I favor him. It will be interesting to see who he chooses as a VP. Maybe somebody better-looking. That would help.

So much can happen before the election. I try to keep my mind open to new thoughts and ways of looking at things.

Great picture, by the way !

I like Clinton because I think she's the smartest, the strongest and the most serious of the three of them. If I can't have her, I'll take McCain because he has a lot of experience and he seems like a decent man. Not too crazy about Obama. He seems like a nice guy, but I don't know too much about him and what I know makes me a little worried.

I'm not sure who I plan on voting for just yet. I am waiting for the candidates to give me at least an inch on where they stand on issues. Right now it seems, to me at least, that it is all fluff and political jockeying. Great post and keep up the good work!
